We hold no religious affiliations; simply stated.. we have Faith and Hope in our collective futures.. expressed intentionally through Love and Charity.
To that end.. and with specific emphasis on single mothers with children.. we strive to have a positive impact on the lives of marginalized and at-risk youth by assisting their family unit in overcoming any personal barriers that might prevent them from obtaining healthier, safer, less violent, and more meaningful lives.
It is said that, when you change the life of a mother, you automatically change the life of her child.. but that is only our first objective.
Ultimately, our goal is to positively impact so many lives that we create a ripple effect extending beyond individual family units, influencing the larger community, and shaping a stronger, healthier, more harmonious future for generations to come.

Mission Statement: Sticks And Stones Program
The mission of our Sticks And Stones program is twofold: 1) to empower marginalized and at-risk youth to overcome the challenges that they face today, and 2) to engage in early childhood measures that will proactively prevent the emergence of those risk factors in the future.
By working hand-in-hand, directly with students, we are dedicated to helping marginalized and at-risk youth rise above adversity by addressing tough issues, such as bullying, eating disorders, and self-harm.
Through exploration of the topics, development of essential coping skills, instilling a sense of self-worth, and practicing empathy building exercises, we will not only begin to shield our target population from harm, but also propel them towards positive change.
We also recognize the importance of early intervention and we are committed to implementing preventive measures. By teaching children at an early age how to identify and process their emotions appropriately, and by modeling healthy forms of interpersonal interaction, we aspire to build a strong, healthy foundation for the future success and well-being of all children.
Through the power of our collaborative efforts, we can begin to affect transformative change that not only heals our students’ personal trajectories, but also contributes to a broader cultural shift creating a stronger, healthier, more harmonious world for us all.
